Slide out?

Hello all,

Here a question from the Netherlands.
Somewhere on this forum i saw a few pics from a teardrop with a slidingout.
Can anybody tell me how that has done?
Will the weight rase extreme? I can tow with this Chrysler Voyager over 3000lbs, but the problem here is when i built a thing towing by the car it's more heavy than 1500lbs it has to go to the gouvernment. I don't like that.
I hate taxes and other things to pay. I was thinking building a TTT, but a little bigger that tiny. I realy need a big bed because my growth is 6' 11".
My DW likes a (porta potty) toilet and my 2 DD's like sleeping in their tent.
So, what do you think about this?

It is bigger but I don't know the weight. My TD is quite large but not for someone as tall as yourself. You will need something much longer! ;)

You can make any TD longer and taller if you can get a trailer to put it on. I look forward to seeing some great pictures from your country!

Welcome, Henk.

How about this small caravan built in the Netherlands - at least you can read the Dutch language on his site easily!
