Start of "The Spartan" Update: floor down!!!!

Postby tbeau » Fri Feb 29, 2008 9:42 pm

I have desided to name my first trailer "the Spartan".
I also have decided on most of the shape and layout.

My daughter and I started preping the frame last weekend.

I hope to paint the frame next weekend. Then start on the floor and walls over my spring break the week after easter.

Thanks.

Question for anyone out there.
What type of wood should I use to fill the space around the edge of my Frame?

I have read how most of you feel about treated lumber. So what else could I use? This channel goes all the way around so I plan to attach the walls to it.

Looks like she'll be 5' wide? 10' long? How tall at the door?

Nice design. :applause: Keep the progress pictures coming!

She will be 6 1/2 ft wide And around 9' 9 1/2 inches long. If I remember Around 6'2 at the door.I have an updated drawing, need to add. Door will be a little wider than a normal camper door, due to my daughter's wheel chair.
