Telephone Tear Drop

Postby ParTaxer » Tue Jun 17, 2008 1:23 pm

Spotted a red tear drop shaped like a desk telephone from the sixties. It was parked in a pulloff on I-90 near Idaho/Montana border. I couldn't pull over in time to steal it or at least talk to the owner. I hear it was also spotted in Yellowstone. It was beautifully scaled and definitely turned
heads. Any info on this?

Bet so! Northwest Cable News reported this morning that this vehicle was heading to a car show in Seattle. The driver reported that it gets 23 MPG and that he had driven it at 82 MPH. Today's date June 19th.

Telephone Car

It was featured on one of the DC TV stations on Thursday -- said it was based on a VW car -- no surprise there!
