I have been searching for the right design, and came across this on e-bay:

It has possibilities. Does anyone know anything about these? I searched this forum and online, but couldn't find any more information about them.

How hard would it be to build so that it doesn't leak at the seams? I'm working with a pop-up frame as a base, would like some standing room, but don't necessarily want a dropped floor.

Thanks!
Robin

That looks like a larger version of the Escape Hatch/Winter Warrior. It's not hard to build at all. Check out my album here...

It was built by A-liner, but is no longer in production.

Check here, they still make a model similar to that one. It has given me a couple of ideas for my truck camper.

I contacted the seller of the camper (by the way, it didn't sell -- reserve price not met). He said it was probably about 6'8" or maybe even 7' high inside by the back door. There is no dropped floor in this one.

Here is the layout of the newer model, but I think it's pretty similar:

I have some additional pics in my album.

That looks like a new version of mine only 30 years newer!

It has almost the exact same floor plan as mine with ther rear door.
