Fiberglass trailer

A bit off topic, this, but one can always learn something.

What is unique about this 18 foot Fiberglass trailer?

Answer: the top and bottom are the same molding. The door recess is not the same in both parts, but it may be added afterwards. The saving in investment to make the molds must be substantial - like 50%!

Not much use for a teardrop, but might work for a TTT.

Andrew,

With all the magic you can work with ellipses? I'll bet there is a way to come up with 2 ellipses that would work. You probably have to think more along the lines of a midget than a MI teardrop. But if you arn't working on the Widget 7 yet, why not!!! :R

Mike...
The quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten, so build your teardrop with the best materials...
