Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

I have a 4'x6' trailer. I want to use it to haul my camping gear and also use it as a camp kitchen. I have been browsing the site for examples and so far the closest I have seen is a TIny Trailer. I want one side storage and one side camp kitchen. Can someone point me to one on the site or point to a picture of something close to waht I want. Below is a picture of my trailer. I am also open to any suggestions on abuild if there are better suggestions.

I don't know if you looked @ the the pack mule build, I wanted the same thing a full service galley and storage. I originally intended it to fit on my 4 X 8 trailer leavingme an additional 3 1/2 ft of open area for firewood/ bikes, etc. The explorer box is another good launching point.

I regret that I didn't take a picture of what I saw on my last camping trip 2 weeks ago. A couple had converted the bottom half of an old pop-up into exactly what you are talking about. He had small doors on all sides, one bigger door that housed the fridge (approx. 3'), a door that opened so he could slide out the stove and another door that housed all his equipment...bikes, tents, etc. It was a great setup. I still can't believe I didn't take any pictures.

The roadside chuck wagon looks close to what I want but I am going to need to take if off when I need the trailer. I will probally makes just a open box with one side for storage and one side for cookin equipment and food.

now that looks like what I want but with no tent and alittle higher. I guess I will use some of the design when I make a drawing. I am thinking of a Chuck wagon type trailer. These suggetions should get me started keep the ideas rolling in.

If you look at page three of his album you will see a chuck box. He has lots of goodies.

I am still on the hunt for one I saw 6 months ago it was awesom!

Here is what Mirian C. was mentioning, I call it a Explorer Box. Kitcken / Galley on the front and bulk storage in the rear. If you're located close to the Salem, OR area, you're welcome to come by and check it you.

I built my camping gear/kitchen trailer on that exact same 4x6 trailer. It was such an awesome project! Thankyou to everyone on this forum, I couldn't have done it without all of your knowledge. I'll try to post pics soon.

That is so darn cute it makes me chuckle with delight!

It is small enough that you probably don't even feel it when you drive and it probably doesn't take much, if any, additional fuel to pull it. The galley looks like it is very serviceable, too!
