Shasta Plans

Postby jcook5003 » Wed Jun 17, 2009 12:05 pm

I've searched and cant find a darn thing close to what I'm looking for.

In light of the fact I now have a bigger more pwerful tow vehicle, I am looking for plans to build a stand up trailer, small, in the say 12' range.

Rear dinette, front side shower, and kitchen. Similar to the new Shasta's.

I figure if someone had some plans for something like the old Shasta's I could easily adapt it to my needs.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks
Josh

I can offer you:

- a set of build-your-own trailer plans for a 14ft from the 1950s - good for some construction tips;

- the profile drawn for Len's Shasta replica - 138" long by 81" high;

- a layout, but nothing more, for the S-o-W ('Shower-on-Wheels').

Pm me your email address and I'll send them to you.

If you are specifically looking for the Shasta profile Len's trailer is would be perfect. If you are looking to build your own, you might want to look at Steve Frederick's Rondack Lodge.

Thank for the help so far guys, the ready built trailer looks super nice (I love the wings) but that would take out half the fun (building it)

Plus if I build it myself I can do it with no financing as I have cash........these are strange economic times the less debt I have the happier I am.

PM sent with email.

I'll check out the links.

Keep it coming guys, thanks.
