Pop up lid designs?

I gave up on my teardrop trailer back in Jan. to finish the interior of my El Camino. It's pretty much done so I am back on the camper project. I've decided to K.I.S.S. and use the old camp trailer I have and just modify it to my needs. I have given up on a rear galley so I am looking for some pics and/or plans of a front-hinge design pop up with a door in the back. I used the SEARCH last night and found the guy that had the clamshell design and it looked like what I had in mind but I am going with a low-pro Rimple design. I'm looking for a way to fill in the side panels when the top is up, also. Hard panels, canvas (ick!), nylon, etc. I hope to have it ready for Minden in June. :worship:
It's good to see all the improvements to the site. 8)
Thanks, guys/gals!!

Okay, after some measurements and alot of thought, I've decided to just go with a Rimple and screw the tilt up top idea. There IS a reason that the letters "i-m-p-l-e" is in Simple and Rimple  !!
I was looking for something I could stand up in to change clothes but all the hinge points and side panels and all the other crap to consider kind of shot my K.I.S.S. plan all to hell!! I'm still going with a rear entry camper but I'll just make a small privacy porch on the back for standing up, cooking during bad weather or just kicking back in some chairs when the bugs are out.
I'm not bagging the pop up guys' designs but my limited building knowledge is one thing I had to consider for me.

Wow! George T, your's not only pops up, it pops OUT! Good job on that one :applause: !! I've decided to poop can the "clamshell" idea and go with a rounded simple with a flat back and a door in the rear, also. 8'L X 5' W X 4' T......... small closets on each side of the rear door and an elevated floor so it will overhang the tires and provide me the width I need to put in a full mattress that's 54" wide. I wanted to make a small 4x6 camper because I'm only 5'2" and my GF is 5'3" but her dog seems to think she can only sleep against the grain :x .
Oh well, from all the banter about the sizes of trailers to build, I'll be happier with a bigger one anyway. My head is hurting from all the thinking about how I want to build mine, time for some of this............. !!

Thanks for all the replys, guys!!
