Camping Gear Hauler

Hi All!!

It has been a good 2 years since the last time I have been on...

I am planning to build a Camping Hauler thanks to the designs from CCC (schaney)

My first main question is because it is just a gear hauler what is the recommended thickness for the ply sides? I'm trying to keep it as light as possible, but don't want to fall through when sleeping on top...

It depends ... normally 3/8" marine or cabinet grade plywood or 1/2" if using construction grade. The layout of your interior cabinets and bulkhead has an impact on being able to adjust up or down in your plywood thickness.
