Idea from Rialta RV slide out bathroom

Postby Ron Dickey » Thu May 19, 2005 9:14 pm

I went tent camping the other day. Morro Bay Ca State park campgrounds is open and still being worked on. looks nice.
A Rialta VW RV camped across from us and I went over to talk with them about it. inside is a slide out wall you push a botton on each side the floor pannel is removable to show a shower floor. The jon and a fold down sink and an over head pull out shower head are all stacked above each other.

When you need to shower you remove the floor cover pull out the wall and
shower you have room to shower and a sunken shower floor to catch the water.
with the floor cover closed
you can pull out the walls to use the jon
but if you need to just wah your hands or comb your hair
you do not slide the walls out you just open a door on the front of the slide out.

this could be set up facing outside and taking up little inside.

to see it look here.

It offers some good ideas.

Ron,

That's a neat idea. Did you happen to see how they sealed the slideout so it doesn't leak? I would be afraid that water would get into the walls and rot them.
