I am nearing completion of a whole new concept in small trailers. The Teal Camper comes as foam-filled plastic molded panels, ready to assemble into a camper on almost any utility trailer from 4’ x 6’ to 5’ x 12’ or larger. It is extremely lightweight, yet hard sided and durable. You will be able to customize your own interior or order a complete package. One of the best features is that it will be affordable.

The Teal Camper can be assembled or disassembled in a little over an hour. The parts all nest together so it can be stored in the garage, basement or out of the way when not in use.

certainly an interesting design! not the prettiest thing on 2 wheels, but being functional and modular are definitely the selling points! sweet!

It will be interesting to watch your company grow. Your little trailer endeavor has much potential. My first thought was, where were you when I first started thinking of a small trailer!

Of course, with the camping trailer clan, the proof is in the final results and what the community says about the first trailers that are sold and used.

Perfect design for a simple layout with a rear entry.
Haven't gone to their website, but interestged in how the camper is secured to the trailer, how the integrated walls come together with the floor and roof, how to add exterior accessibility, etc.

It has seriously caught my eye. It is very similar to that of the Compact camper of the early 70s.

I've thought my next box for my trailer will be more easily removed but your idea of making it completely modular is awesome. I'd love to see it beat up on a rough road and see how it works with vibration etc.


EDIT: I'd like to see a bathroom module for my wife so I could try to sell her on it someday

Well, I just bought my 4x8 1720 pound HF trailer yesterday...

Sure would like to know what they cost..

By the way, target price for a Teal Camper to fit a 4x8 trailer is between $3,500 and $4,500, depending on how it is outfitted. Weight on my utility trailer is under 600 lbs.

Very interesting design, I like the expandable modular approach for providing different sizes. The one big negative I see is the whole thing appears to be held together with a big nylon strap

So - Larry - did you ever get to go camping in Rocky Mountain National Park? Or were you consumed by the camper building and never make it? I hope you went in a prototype or something.

A very interesting concept and with an aluminum frame trailer you could really get the weight down. I trust you have cable in the strap, one joker with a sharp knife could...
