The as yet unnamed boxcar/vardoesque caravan that hit the road for the first time this weekend.

There is still some trim work that needs to be done, there are no doors on the inside cabinets, and it still needs work to properly seal the underside, but I did get to camp before the season was over.

I have been told I cannot call it Trashabago 2.0, so if anyone has a suggestion for a name, let me hear it.

I like the look of it, kinda vardo'ish. Im torn between a bowtop I can stand in and a smaller boxy mini gypsy trailer like steve's

Hi Ptomaine,

How about calling it " The Loaf-Inn" ?

It looks like a small loaf of Quick Bread!
- and -
You'll be 'loafing' in it when you're camping!
- and -
It's the 'Inn' where you're sleeping when away
from home!

Why that's almost a triple pun!

And I'm sure it's gonna give you all triple the fun
when you are using it.

So good luck while you're loafing with the "Loaf-Inn"!

About 58 inches wide. The sides are a single sheet of plywood long (8 foot).
I don't know the weight yet, but I can tell it is a lot heavier than my first one.

I looked at your pics and saw your weekender, and its 4 feet wide, is that what the weight difference might be, well that and this build is useing full sheets of plywood lol.

My sister and brother-in-law own a Railroad. No, they are not Rail Barons. it is a small touristy dinner train in rural Wisconsin. I stole their logo and 'shopped it onto the camper. :lol:

The curve of the roof would allow it to be taller than the usual 4'. How tall is it in the center area? What did you use for the black roof coating?
