future car designs could be a futue trailer

Looking at designs of several cars makes one wonder what the trailers they will pull will look like.
oops this was my dream pickup My truck of the future, when I was a kid for $500 it's add sat in the back of the Popular Science Mag.

I wonder if we will suv's will ever look like those future designs but then maybe if the trailers look more modern maybe they in influence the deigns of the cars who pull them.
