Starting the build in the morning thought I would lay out the plans and see what some of you think
We are going to build a 6'x9' benroy I realize thats a little wider than most but We need two small closets to accomodate a weeks worth of clothes, was going to put the bed cross ways with upper front cabinets &a whole wall of cabinets & closets on the rear of the cabin I have built a small wooden model to make sure it will all fit will try to post pics tonight.
The galley area will be large have not planned out placement of everything there was going to get the shell built and then decide ,any thoughts would be appreciated

Are you using the Generic Benroy plans? Mike has a lot of good info you could adapt to the size you want. I think he even has a drawing of a 9' somewhere. Jim

If you can handle the weight, go for it. My generic benroy was 6' wide, but it was heavy. I would also tuck the wheels under the body.

I'm not sure I would put the bed across the cabin. 70" doesn't leave you much room for stretching out. Yoo could use a plan simlar to the baja benroy, and still get all the room you need for storage...

Here was the design...

And here's what I finally built.
