"Eggzotic" trailer spotted in the wild!

The wife and I were checking out a small local campground Sunday. There was only one site still occupied so we didn't feel too invasive putting around the loop a few times. Then right as we were about to pull out this thing rolls in and blows my mind!

Followed them around the loop, then they go to make another round.. Figured it wouldn't be prudent to continue the chase since we were already running late for a dinner date with a friend. So we headed out.

I searched around and found the maker's website: https://www.eggzotictinytrailer.com/

I probably would of made a scene chasing them down and asking for a camper tour. I love the unique shape. I wonder if it is a repurposed shell or if it is purpose built.

Thanks for sharing the photo!

Edit... I guess I missed the link! I hope they sell some of them!

Finally had the chance to poke around their site some and it looks like it is a cedar strip style construction.. Sounds like a one-off unless ya come talking with your wallet.

I've done 8 cedar strip boats and the curves around the front window are more extreme than I would have thought possible. Maybe you could do it with 1/4" square strips, steam bending for the tightest curves. Beautiful work.

Yeah that is why I initially thought it was just laminated boards sanded to shape. They saved themselves some of the tightest stuff up front by having one of the porthole windows right where it would converge, but they had to go all the way to termination at the back.
