Well, I was able to work on the TD yesterday. I made the dividers for the different compartments in the cabin cabinets. I finish sanded the red oak face frame. It is now ready for a clear poly finish. I cut out the opening for the stereo in the center upper panel. I need to get the speakers yet. I will cut out their openings when I get them. I need to get the electrical boxes for the 110 volt AC outlets. I will place two of them in the next compartment by the stereo and two 12 V outlets also.

I am off for vacation this week and I will be spending most of my time on my other TD build, the "Silver Nugget". Look for an update on it later this week.

Terry and I will be getting married on Saturday the 16th. It has been very time consuming and expensive to get ready. But we did all of the arrangements ourselves with a little help from friends and family. That always helps. I will post some pictures next week of us during the wedding.

We hope all is well with everyone of our teardrop friends. Take care... :wine party:

Hello everyone: Terry and I were married on April 16th, 2011. It has been great camping in the "Silver Nugget" and meeting so many of you. We have decided to put the "Road Towed" to rest and go a different direction with the trailer. I will be building a small standie on it for my sister Robin. I'm not sure which design I will go with yet. I need to get my sister's ideas of how she wants it done. I stripped out all of the useable stuff I could salvage and it will be used in the new build. I cut it down and it is now back to the bare frame once again.

You can see the two different fenders I use just to get the trailer registered.
They will go away during the build of "Robin's Nest"...

We look forward to seeing all of you at Davis Creek Park next week for our first organized gathering, "Falling Tears".

Shame not seeing The Ms. Independent get finished. I was always curious on how the extra storage place in the middle was going to play out. My Max Headroom, still in planning, has a center section in it as wall. It more for Utility area for batteries, AC, and water tanks with access haces on the outside.

Oh well On to bigger and better things.
