One of these build threads, I saw where someone used a pop-up frame and built a teardrop on. Well this 1972 StarCraft camper was my wife's grandparents for about 15 years, then her cousins and their husbands owned it for a couple years, and then they sold it to my wife's brother. He used it once, then it's been setting in her parents barn for the last couple years. The roof has had horribly bad hail damage, and my wife's cousins had to put a tarp over the aluminum roof to keep it from leaking.
Tomorrow we will start ripping the house off the frame, start stripping the frame, cleaning it up, and checking it out. Hopefully pick up some plywood, and figure out the exact design. The square part of the frame, that you would put the floor of the teardrop on measures 7' 10" by 6' 4". I will most likely cheat the length to 8 foot, will have to get the rest of it planned out.
