drewh1 wrote:You are doing a tremendous job on your build. I really like the fenders and tail lights. I looked at the Speedway site after reading your post.

I am trying to figure out fenders for my build. Which fenders are those, width? ? thanks

drew.

Drew I think the part number was 9003540 it should be for a 11.5" width. My wheels are 15x6 w a 3" backspace and I have 1/2" of space between my tire and the inner portion of the outer fender under full squat. there is 3" or so inches above the tire to the top of the fender.

Tom, you're making me blush. It has been alittle slow at work and since I have to go to and from the shop everyday I have the luxury of seeing it in the am and setting something up, going to work and then starting at 430-5 and work for a couple hours every day.

That and I do not do well w projects that drag on. I've been thinking about this thing for a few years but I don't handle long drawn out projects well. I have a 63 VW truck that I have been "working" on for 5 years. The real story is I work on it for 2 months run out of time/money/steam and it sits for 6 months and I start again. However I am on my final push with it as well I hope.

I am really hoping to get it out in the woods this weekend. Waiting on a few pieces of trim. Lights are wired, doors latch, AC/heat works, I have my stove and cooler. Just need to go see what I am missing or forgot.

Thanks for checking in

Sal

Ps someone with moderator status could change my title to "The shiny Lima" that would be great as my wife has so dubbed it.

You can do this for yourself at anytime: open your first post in the thread, select the "edit" button, change the subject line and submit.

It will change the first and future posts, as well as how the thread appears in the index.

That's what I thought as that's the way it is on other forums that I am on or moderate but it could be it won't let me through tapatalk.
