I just noticed that during the construction of my trailer the Google street view car drove by and took a picture of my trailer in progress, I just need to figure out how to get the Picture without, advertising to everyone in the world my exact address :R

I found some early sketches of my trailer pans that I did when I was planning the build

this is an early sketch, when I was planning an independent airbag suspension, and, a different shape

this is pretty close to what I ended up building

my hydro flame hf8012 ( RV furnace) is too old to get a replacement gas valve, but a friend will make me a deal on a Suburban SF-25 http://manuals.heartlandowners.org/manuals/Heating-Cooling/Furnace/Suburban/SF-20-25-30-35-42_Furnace_Suburban.pdf the original 12,000 BTU seemed like a lot for a 5'x10' tear drop, and a 25,0o0 BTU furnace most certainly will be too big, I am not sure if it is worth the effort to install it and get the adequate air for return and supply, just to have it short cycle, from being over sized for the space

it towed very well, my truck is just a little under powered, but considering it had 90 HP when it was new pushing 35" tires down the road while pulling 1,300lbs. is not to bad. it got up to 51MPH between ramps on the freeway and was still gaining with a slight head wind

You built a very nice trailer! I like the guarded lights on the rear. I have something similar in mind for my project, except mine will be in "cans" and mounted on the outside of the frame.

the event was the Pacific northwest four wheel drive "pick up a mountain" trail clean up event, and on Sat i had the rare opportunity to wheel a trail that has been closed for 15 years,( copper city ) to to some bridge work to hopefully get it re opened
