Mini split in an teardrop

Postby dms2871 » Tue Feb 02, 2016 1:50 pm

Ok I posted questions on this before and ive seen the question posted too. it can and cannot be done, one the smallest ive found was 9,000 btu
here is the problem we know its too big already. it will just short cycle and not run long enough to dehumidify. will it cool yes but wont dehumidify basically it wont run long enough to do this. what can you do to stop this. Change the metering device and compressor change out is the only way and its time and money wise not worth it. or if you had a tent that attaches to outside to door with door open it would work but then again not the way to go. I work for an hvac contractor I just install these things and know how they work ,not the efficiency end of them. so I hope this answers anybody else's questions to this also.
