Well, that insulation was a royal pain in the ass. I filled in the gaps with a spray foam that got in behind some of the insulation, hardened, and then popped the outer sheet off of the VHB tape. But, I think we rescued it and have a plan, so that will be ok. We then tried to glue and VHB tape the inner liner (1/8" luan), that didn't go so hot, but we have a plan for that too. All in all, it's going well, a few headaches yesterday and today, but still having a great time.

Looking great. It's nice to see someone else using steel framing. :) I really like the overall shape of your teardrop and I'm looking forward to seeing your progress.

Quick update, I've finally finished lining the roof and hatch, you'll see the little jigs I "made" to hold the luan up nice and snug while the glue cures. Next up is lining the interior walls with the 1/8th baltic birch. It's going well, I'm havin a great time.

About to order some CPES, then I'll do some coats of varnish on top of that. I'd like to get the wood treated in the next week or two.

I'm planning on using some type of auto caulk for the small exterior gaps at the joint between the outer wall and the trailer, then some type of auto molding on top of that. Does that make sense? Anyone have any tips or thoughts on that?

Looking good. Here some seam sealers that would work for you. http://www.eastwood.com/autobody/seam-s ... fgodfK0Lsw .
I like this stuff. http://www.tptools.com/TP-Tools-Premium ... am+sealers
I just saw you are in Portland OR I've been up here in Portland for the last six days. I picked up a roof vent and fenders while we were here visiting our son. Heading south in the early morning.
