Craig's UK build

and so it begins.....

The first step was made today when I bought this!

So I've got some stripping down to do first, but by the time I've sold a few bits off I should end up with a free chassis and some money left over too.

Plans for the build aren't finalized yet, but as I'll be towing it behind my Land Rover I think something boxy shaped will look best.

She's a pretty one! Is it not worth salvaging as is?

No not really. It's been leaking for sometime, so the interior has got to this point.

It only cost me £200, which is just under $300

I fetched it today, and it's as rough as expected. However there's a lot in it to sell, so the next few weeks will be spent moving all that on, so don't expect any proper build pics for a while.

So scrap the 1st plan. I've sold the caravan I bought, but not before taking out all the stuff which will aid the build.

The reason I sold the caravan was because this came along yesterday, for the same price as I could sell the empty caravan for, and it saved me the hassle of getting rid of the old body.

Today I started to take the chip board off, only to find insulation underneath, and a ply base in great condition, so I'll use it as the foundation for the build.
