Before I glued and installed my spars. I drilled holes for the wiring and test fit them.
Then I finished with the spars
On the first cuts for the supports in between the spars I would go up there, measure, come back down cut the plywood. For the second one I decided to clamp the piece of plywood on the outside of the teardrop then make my marks where to cut. That way there was no measuring and I could take the piece of plywood down and make all my cuts at one time.
I started on it a little over a year ago now. Took a few breaks on it due to traveling and training. Getting to the point of excited/ready to get it done though
Been working on my interior under cabinet slide drawer. I have seen people use it for a laptop, sit drinks on ect.. I thought that was a good idea.
I took a 1/4 dado bit and ran that down the length of a 8 foot piece of maple style. That gave me a slot to put my birch 1/4 plywood top piece. It took almost the entire 8 foot piece to make the slide so I just cut it all at once so the lines would match up. Still need to stain and install it.
