The birth of another Picolight

Hi, this is Claude from Quebec Canada. I recently purchased a Canam Spider late last fall (didn,t even have a chance to ride it yet) and over the rest of the last year the idea of towing a small trailer started to sprout in my mind. (Sorry if my English is not so good). Anyway, after viewing many builds, I decided to opt for the Picolight , the low weight factor being predominant over other considerations. From the owner,s manual of the Spider, it,s maximum towing capability should be restricted to 400 lbs and the Picolight when finished should weigh around 280. I plan to add a car battery and a cooler plus some other equipment and since I,m not entirely going by the plans, some more weight might be added to it. All in all I,ll try not to exceed the 400lbs. I,m adding a few pictures in my gallery and if anybody is interested in commenting, please do as I,ll be more than happy to read them and exchange with you. Happy building all of you.

I have seen a number of small tears towed by motorcycles. One made of the plastic used in a shower surround another hand made out of stainless steel.

Have you looked at the teardrop design by Chesapeake light Craft? The design weight is 250 pounds.
