So I finally sat down and made an album with a few pictures of the 1967 Kustom Koach build. It is 13 ft. from hitch to bumper and the cabin is 6 ft. 3 in. wide and 9 ft. 6 in. long. I think a few of the teardrops and foamies on this forum are bigger!

Lots of rot!

I ended up taking it down to the bare frame and was only able to salvage about 60% of the wall framing. All new roof rafters and interior plywood.

Scary hitch welds!

Poor attempt at frame repairs.

Front of the frame replaced and a new hitch welded on and longer fish plates inside and outside at the frame bend.

Frame repaired and painted>

Floor is on and all axle U bolts, bushings and bearings replaced.

Walls are going up.

Roof is going on.

Roof and walls up and 4 coats of semi-gloss varnish. Walls are 1/8 poplar veneer flooring underlay. $15.00 a sheet at my local big orange store!

Kitchen cabinet under construction.
