Woody Teardrop from 2018-2019 Update

Postby Vayda » Tue May 24, 2022 5:00 pm

Hello! I am Nicole and this is my original teardrop build thread:
viewtopic.php?f=50&t=71198

2020 brought a lot of changes for everyone, and I am now the sole owner of this camper. I'm finally wanting to get to finishing the galley up this summer.

***One thing I'm considering is buying a 12v pump for a sink and a couple tanks for the water and waste water. If anyone knows of any good builds on here with sinks please let me know as I am on the lookout for ideas!

I have taken the teardrop on a few camping trips since my last post, so I'll post a few pics on here.

Glad to hear you are using it Nicole. Looking forward to seeing the camping pictures. (No sink in ours, so I can't help you there.)

Nice looking 'drop!

Can't help on the sink, I too am a no-sinker. They take up too much counter space and storage.

I did something similar to Tony's with the stove. Basically, 1/8" aluminum angles were fastened to the lower edge of the stove, then drawer guides were attached to the stove's angles & the side panels of the galley. Works very well, light & doesn't use too much space. Toilet stall latches were used to keep the stove in place when running, but placed in an up & down position, not sideways like they would normally be.
