It is, after fiddling with the frame for a few weeks, this feels more like progress.
It hit 101 here today, I'm trying to stay out of the garage, maybe for a bit tonight.
I'll be done when I'm finished, if that's not fast enough, take a number.

Had a semi light day at work today, ok I managed to get me a 20somethnig to help me at work today for my curb pour. He's good at mixing 60lb bags of Sakrete in a wheelbarrow.
Got home to find my automotive wire loom clips were here so I had a burst of get stuff done.

I need to pick up a couple loom T's and a couple 3/4 cable clamps plus lop about a foot off of the 7 pin pigtail, so more soldering to come.
The 2 to 3 tail light module is in, I need to grab a couple nylocks to swap out the plain ol' nuts.

Soldering rear harness split L/R side tails and 12v from trucks charging system

Left marker with my niffty loom clips.

Rear harness L/R tails 12v from truck

7 pin junction, 2 to 3 tail light module installed

More progress  Good for you.
Watch that temperature. That's what it had been down here for a few weeks now. Up and down, after 90 degrees, weather man should just say HOT..
We've hit over 100 several days, and then the real feel temp..

Yeah, now that it's starting to come together I'm having to pace myself, working on CAD and scouring the internet for deals on parts is pacing myself, right? Work is really picking up, Start another new small project next week which will bring me to 5 active projects and 2 on hold.

101 one day and the next I think it barely cleared 60 and pretty windy. You know what they say, if you don't like the weather, just wait 5 mins.

Most of them lol.

I'm trying to buy as I need but I'm keeping on eye on prices, I've snagged a few deals recently like saving $60 on the chest fridge. Also found a decent price on most of the quality wire I need to wire the camper.

Prices are the main thing right now. Everything going up.
I have an assortment of tail lights, reverse and clearance lights. And a hurricane hinge, I believe it's a 61 inch..
just let me know if you want to know what I have.. or interested in any of it..
Make you a really good price on it..

Mind sharing? Zoro has been by far the best for the wire I like (ancor tinned marine) but im always looking for better prices.

Stary,
I got the tail lights and markers and I need a 78"? hinge if I go with a hurricane which is the plan, TDtrailer parts sells them up to 8', but thank you.

Schnottus,
Off Amazon, I got 25' 10ga for my 12v charge lead from the truck $11 from Installgear and a 6pk of 16ga from GSpower 100ft ea for $36, a little 14ga for chassis grounds from Haerkn, 10' ea red/black $11, not top shelf more about lower chest height. The silicone tinned copper marine grade can get pricy real quick.

Major set back, it's all swirling the drain.

Can't find any wire loom tee's at any of the auto parts stores. Amazon has a bag of 25 for $33 but I only need 3.
Going to hit the Pick n Pull tomorrow for them, also look for a couple little things for my truck.

Matching wire gauge of the system for the DOT lighting.

Besides you know what they say, you can never have to much ground.

We don't have that saying here.
I assume you mean tail, stop, indicators, when you say "for the DOT lighting".
Our design rules say "an earth (ground) return wire must between the trailer and its tow vehicle must be provided" and there is a dedicated pin in the plug.
So we could use the chassis for the ground and still be legal.
But the multicore double insulated cable is so damned cheap, and the white ground wire is included, so literally everyone just runs right back to the correct pin on the plug.

But that's cool. What piqued my interest was whether you were intending to chassis ground any of the other circuits, like 12v cabin lighting, power outlets etc. I wouldn't do that, and if I were putting in AC shore power circuits, I wouldn't ground those either. My goal being to ensure the DC and AC are fully separated electrically.
