With some doorbell wire, moved the diesel heater control panel to the inside of the trailer and it works! It was only 45 or so outside but I turned it on while doing some interior work, and at almost the lowest setting it warmed things up quickly! Carbon monoxide detector and few coat hooks up, to keep us safe!

I did a similar setup with my diesel heater. When wiring my trailer, in pre-ran 3 16ga wires to where I wanted to mount the controller. I used a 5 pin, 25A aviation plug to connect power to the heater, and carry the controller signal back to the panel, since my heater is mounted in an external box that I remove in the summer.
