Glad to see that the window supports did fit within the wall thickness

Thanks, same here. Here are interior shots. Window screen will sit in recess and clip in. The screen will have to stretch a little at latch.

Okay, now that I've totally reviewed the slidavan build, I understand what you're doing and am not so worried about your build. Go for it!

Thanks for the thumbs up!
I camped with my brother and dad some last week- storms cut our trip short. I got to check out my brother’s pop up.
The next milestone is to get the low walls glued/screwed to the trailer, but I’m trying to get the hinges on first and other prep work.

This weekend I cut out 2 window openings in side walls and painted the outside.

I tried test fitting one of the upper walls. I wanted to make sure it was going to clear the hinges at the end walls.
The upper wall is just held up by gravity here, because the trailer is leaning a little bit.
The low walls are still not glued to the trailer. I just screwed them together at the corners.

Thanks- exciting and challenging. I’m seeing lots of issues. Ugh.

I think I can, I think I can

Interior pic. Voids at top of sides will be filled. 1/4” cork will cover plywood. I tested gluing cork to plywood with Titebond 2, works fine but requires pressure. I will be using books to weigh it down.

I got the rest of the walls up. The camper is close to the roof joists at back of garage- roof slants away from door. I may have to tilt trailer, or turn it around.

Good progress. I took wheels off and used wooden blocks to support the frame and gain enough head room.

Thanks- That’s a good option. I’m hoping I can just turn the trailer around and put the hitch towards the end of the garage. It’s a shed roof. I have a video, but I don’t know how to load them here.
I’ve been painting a view of the Mississippi river, so no work on the camper of late.

Okay, thanks OP827.

Here is a quick walk around showing how close the camper is to the garage rafters…. 6” or so. I was completely worn out when I shot this video, I had been working on the camper straight for two days and this was at the end of it. Lol.
