Our target date is the day we set out for the Dam Gathering.
Depending on who wants to travel together or meet us along the way.
We will be on the road as early as Apr. 24 (Friday) or the 25th if anyone wants to stop in Wenatchee or Yakima?\
If nobody is into camping that weekend ....we will leave on the 26th.
The possibilities are limitless????

My dad used to like to go trout fishing up near Yakima. The boys at work and I play cards everyday at lunch (pitch, or set back). When the dealer decides to let a bidder take the hand, we have gotten into the habit of saying "Yakima", instead of "Yeah, come on in".

We see a lot of Yakima in our travels, as it is on our south bound route.
I have attended a Street Rod Run there every year except one in the past 34 years!
Was there on three consecutive weekends tis fall for events.
We have lots of friends there and a favorite Tamale stand.

When I was in the forces, we used to go to Yak and Ft Lewis a couple times a year to train with US troops and they'd come up to Chilliwack and Wainwright to train here. I remember going across the border one time in a van with C6 GPMGs with a blanket over 'em because our unit hadn't filed some of the paperwork for the border. We were in a convoy that went through all together, but still...

You'd never do that today - they'd think you're a Canadian invasion force

Good times.

Well we are home!
Took a two week break from "Kermit Building" and went to Costa Rica. :D
But now we are home and it is time to make up for that lost building time.
No more TV
Time to change gears if we plan to even be close for the Dam Gathering debut?????
There is nobody in my camp on this one  Those around me think I am totally delusional with my target date and expectations???
But I will forge on!

Thanks for your confident support.
Yes, got back to green grass and no more snow...sun was out today and the Farm was beckoning me.
Fruit trees needed pruning, Hay field needed harrowing, Shrubs need spring trim, Walnuts needed to be raked,......But....instead of getting started on those things, I spent the day in the shop.
Worked on the doors! Rust repair and customizing!
Almost ready to install the "bear claw latches"..........hopefully tomorrow? :NC

A couple days in the shop have resulted in some forward progress.
Firewall is welded up, front jacks are mounted, doors are fitted, latches are in the works

By now, you should know that without pictures it didn't happen. Sandi, get out the whip...

Okay Greg
I know none of this has happened either???? (no pictures) :R
But, even though I am not pleased with the progress that was made this week (busy with other things in the shop) I did manage to get the converter mounted, access door made, some electrical boxes laid out, as well as finalizing locations for fuse panel, breaker box, most plug & boxes, and templates for tow board upper rail c/w stereo, computer drawer, & 12V receptacles.
Looking forward to a huge project day today. .......but I always do!
Always nice to have high expectations if you can handle the let down at the end of the day??? Maybe that is why I drink at night? :wine:
Glad to hear you are coming to the Farm Gathering! Numbers are growing!!!

You've gotten way more done than me this week. All I did was work :(
