Chris great start on your Benroy! Take your time and plan it right, if you read my build you will what happens when you don't . Seriously its a great set of plans and if I do one again I will make a router template and route my walls out first instead of attempting it with a jig saw. Exterior should be what y'all want but skinning cost more but is a classic look, painting is more prep but mostly a lot cheaper in cost and it you scratch, ding etc. you can sand down and repaint it. Also whenyou get bored instead of building a new tearjust repaint it and you have a new tear . Enhoy your build and have fun!

Thanks Cliffin. Headed into town to buy wood for the floor today. I read your build thread, looks great, and I see what you mean about having to plan ahead so I don't have to redo anything. Thanks for the tips.

Floor took longer to buy than I thought. "Tomorrow" ended up coming about a week later than I had planned. :FNP I bought a lot of stuff at the home depot and think i only messed up a few things. First I think I bought the wrong asphalt. I guess I need asphalt emulsion, and I got Henry's 201 asphalt roof coating. Is this the same thing? Or did I just grab the wrong item?

Also, anyone else notice that a lot of lumber is not square. The birch plywood 4 by 8's I bought are 8 foot long on one side and about 8 feet and an extra half inch on the other. Oh well, if that is the biggest problem I run into I guess I can count myself lucky.

Also, here are a couple pics.

The wood being off is normal so always check all for squareness, sometimes you will have to cut to get it right. HD does not carry the correct Henry's that people tell you to use, I cheated and went to TSC and bought the fence post treatment instead and used it. Looks good keep at it!

I used the Henry's 201 on my build. It has been working great! I let mine sit out in the sun for an hour or so before applying and it went on like paint. Very easy. But it did take about a week to dry because the warmth wanted to keep it sticky.

I thought oh i can build this in a month or two six months on the outside. Took three years, now granted alot of things that i had no control over went into that. Yet once i got walking again it was campable in 5 months maybe and 99% done in 8. (are they ever done).

Alright. Floor is on and am finishing bolting it on today. After much deliberation I ended up moving the wheels back and I am glad I did. It looks much more teardropish now. Also got my doors ordered from vintage technologies and the stories are true, they are great to do business with super friendly and helpful and not pushy at all. I have cut out my side walls and am just waiting for the doors to arrive so that I can cut out the door holes start fitting the cabinets. Hopefully I will have some pics posted tonight.
