Thanks Thomas, KC :

Neat . . Theres always a new toy or tool that can be found to make something easier. I'll check them out.

You know how to dazzle. . . . Got to the end of build and then shared the goodies all at once.

Beautiful finished tear Thomas and I like the Model A that you have. What is the other project car or cars in the back ground in the garage? Looks like a 60 ish car under the cover and possible a 50's car on the other side?

Cliff

Hi Cliff.

We are 18 "boys"( age 38 -63) in a motor club that enjoy anything that runs on gasoline. We bought a big property for 15 years ago. Ground floor is for cars. Mostly american cars from 1931 up to early 70's. 2 1957 chevy pu's, 1957 Buick, 1968 Buick, 1968 caddi, 1964 Triumph TR4 and couple chevy vans.
One floor up, the bikes are stored. Mostly Harleys, but some Italian classic racing bikes are there to.

One thing that caught my attention is the 220/propane fridge. Who makes them and how well does it work.
I am using a 12V 120AC Waeco.
Looks very good!

The fridge works good on 220V and propane. 12V works ok, but the 12V does not have the possibility of regulate the temp. I use 12V when the camper is on the move.
Here in Norway the 220V is normal power in hoses. These fridges are sold in most camping / caravan and boat stores.

Have received rear hatch supports from ebay :D Can finish the last things on the hatch.
Storage box for gas bottle is in progress. The frame is done, but I need to buy some more aluminum for the walls and lid.
Will post some pictures later. 8)

Gorgeous teardrop and first class craftsmanship. I know you are going to really enjoy that. But be prepared to spend most of your time giving tours of it because it is going to be a real attention grabber.

Great looking teardrop! I love the way you made the fenders. Just curios, how long did they take and had you had any experince with shaping aluminum before?

That tongue cover is pretty trick, too. Makes the front look a whole lot slicker.

Nice metal work.

Hi. Thanks for your comments. :)
Regarding the fenders fcreamer88. I had almost no experience with shaping or welding aluminum before I started with the fenders. In total I made 3 fenders. First one was scrapped during the welding process. Not the smartest way to learn how to Tig weld aluminum on 1,5mm (0,060") sheet. I worked on and off the fenders for a period, but I guess I used a week on them. If you know how to weld aluminum, you probably will save a lot of time.
