Got all my paint/flooring/counter top samples together. There is a fabric for the curtains in a great complimentary color/pattern but it won't be released for a while. The flooring is marmoleum which is bullet proof for a camper and it's got a great retro appearance. A buddy of mine doing a Cardinal had about 1/2 sheet of the boomerang formica left over so that should take care of my table and counter top.
Exact exterior colors are TBD right now. Thinking of a charcoal metallic on the bottom and just a straight yellow on the upper portion. The plan is to take some of the existing siding from the donor trailer with the breaks on it and strip it and do a high polish on the center portion. Those colors with a black accent should look great. At least I think they will. I will probably not reuse the door jamb. After building the steel one on the Nomad...I'm sold on going that way...besides, the existing door won't allow for a screen door, it's in the built in window. It seems that doors on the older trailers tended to get floppy and out of whack. A steel jamb and tight construction makes for 1 solid door and adds to the strength of the wall in my opinion. Yeah yeah...I know...colored pencils and hand drawn...what century am I from? Most of it's in my head anyway. Doug

Here's the profile I'm going with, It will allow more cabinet space overhead in the rear than what I've done in the past. A longer body will also allow for a larger dinette with a 39" table up front, 4' galley counter and a 4'6" bed. I didn't want to slope the front or the rear since I'm using large windows (like nearly 6' wide up front) and they would be tough to work into more of a curved profile. Interior will probably be a painted one similar to what I've done on the Nomad, but in a different color combination. It will be nice and bright, light yellow, with a speckle paint job of black/charcoal, and mustard. Doug
