Nice find on the the fan. I just use a plane vent and strap the CO2 battery / AC fan to it

As usual, Becky said it very well.

I would like to add to the second type: they are either retired or self employed in a related trade, so they have lots of time in each day to work their magic.

There is the "eating an elephant" simile... take lots of small bites... but what works for me best is to imagine myself at that campsite in the mountains sitting in front of the campfire (probably some bacon in the CI skillet) and knowing that in the evening, after the Coleman lanterns are turned off, there will be a sturdy, comfortable and dry bed up off of the ground to climb into.

I am so proud of my accomplishment so far, learning new techniques and challenging myself to stick to a commitment, that even though I am not done yet (and my 2nd annual deadline looms near) that there is no alternative but to see it through to the end. It's like losing weight, you have to make it a life style. Once you commit to it, it is in your nature to continue when you see the results that you are getting.

Bacon and eggs. The chicken contributed, but the pig was truly committed.

Great post KC. Yes, I missed mentioning the retirees and professional carpenters. Those lucky stiffs. And you are also correct that you can't hardly put a value on the learning experience.
