Looks like what I am just starting also. I just got my HF trailer assembled yesterday. I need to make a home depot run for lumber.

I started with free plans I got on this site and it got me off to a start but at this point in the build im just winging it to suit my own needs. like moving the bulkhead back 6 inches to give me a little mote sleeping room and working out the doors and hatch. if you have any questions I will do the best I can to answer them or take a closeup pic if ya need

its is a fun build and im looking forward to taking it out on its maiden voyage like it sits, trailer, wood, hinges and door latches for doors and galley I got right at 1100 in it so by the time its done im guessing 15 to 1700

Nice start so far, this is my favorite design, I like a 5 ft wide design, so I'm in the middle of weighing the coat difference between 4' and 5' wide, do you have any kind of measurement how how many feet I would take to skin the roof including the galley from front to back?

on 4x8 trailer it took me 2 sheets of 4x8 sheeting so im guessing it will take around 4 sheets to do one 5' wide trailer. then you have to figure in the inner skin which will be ruffley the same as the outer skin

I got a little more done this weekend between rain showers. I got the door handles installed, hatch door installed along with the hatch latch. I did get some of the sanding done. All i got left is still the inside cabinet more sanding and a coat of paint then off to the woods to try it out

did you finish this?
I am thinking of one of these as a 4'6" wide trailer

I would love to see some pictures of you inside it to get an idea of scale

This build inspired me a lot when starting mine. I finished mine this summer and have ran a few great trips in it including Denver to San Diego and back with multiple stops along the way. viewtopic.php?f=50&t=59163
