Nothing new on the trailer to report tonight. However, we made a decision about the build. We are crafting a work table to build the walls and other items on. I'm getting older and the knees and lower back don't like all the bending down on the floor. So, I'm working on the table now and hope to have it finished by the end of the weekend.

I am doing something a bit different on the table. I'm placing lines that will make various measurements for an easier guide. I'm also going to rout out a place for a metal ruler that will be level with the table. I'm putting in some angled lines as well. When I'm done with the table we'll use it as a picnic table.

My hope is this will save my knees, back and time. I'll let you know.

Getting the floor mounted really got me moving on my build- things will speed up now. I'm glad to see the update.
I like your camper's name- reminds me of a job I had at the Lee County Tax Collector office one winter. A girl in her 20's came in from California to get new plates and she had on a cool hat. I complimented her, "that's a jaunty hat you're wearing."
she replied- "what do you mean?- I've never heard that word before ( with a frown)"-- so I had to describe what that word meant, she was smiling after I explained it and she realized it was a compliment.- That's our education system today= just the basic 2000-3000 words you need to get by.

We're working on it. Unfortunately we can only go as fast as our backs and knees will allow. :o

This week we discovered we needed to change the plans for the design. Basically it will be a small house design with a pitched roof.

Here is the left wall with the exterior stained drying in our dining room.

Here is the interior of the right wall framing drying on the work table in the back yard.

It's still getting down into the 30's in the evening so we have to bring the walls inside to continue drying. What's a dining room for if not to help with your build projects.

That is a big change- headroom is better added sooner than later. It's going to get chilly in SW Florida, too.

Yes it is. I'm still working on the changes on the interior design to make use of that space without cluttering up the place.
