Thanks Rusty drop.

My work is on the Vista/Oceanside border.
It was the Oceanside DMV I spend several hours in yesterday. If possible, be sure to make an appointment.

Unfortunately I had a 12 hours day at work today, so I only spend about an hour working on the tear tonight. I have a bad feeling tomorrow will be another long day. Saturday will be spend installing trailer wiring on the Ford Edge and installing the brake controller and charging wire for the tear. Then pack up and head out first thing Sunday.

Now only 6 days till IRG III

Well, ready or not here we go.......... The trailer is not done, but it is ready for the road.
Most of the stuff for the next week is loaded in the trailer or TV.
Leaving for IRG III at 02:30 Sunday morning. We are having breakfast with a grade school friend of Candi's in Bakersfield. Then its on the San Simeon for the first night of camping in the tear. Next night is in Van Damme state park just below Mendocino. After that it's only a short drive to IRG III for the rest of the trip.

Here is a :pictures: of the tear and TV.

Thanks Burke.
Turned out pretty nice, but still some more detail work needs to be done. Seemed if we stopped for more than 10 minutes, some would stop by to look at the trailer and sometimes asked questions or just say that they like the looks of the trailer.
Decided to take a couple weeks break before getting back at it.
Did get the Pink Slip for the tear Saturday. So now it's legal.

The :pictures: is from our first camp in San Simeon.

All for now...........

Thanks Thomas,

I'm real happy with what I got so far.............
Taking a break for a couple of weeks before starting in again the work on the last 10 or so percent. Unfortunately, I know it will take more than 10 percent of the total built time. So close, but yet so far. I'll take more pic's once I get going again.

I just found your build thread last night and read it all. Wonderful work Wolfgang. And fantastic looking trailer. I may build a smaller version for my #2.

Try not to worry about your job ending in 2012. At least they gave you a lot of notice and who knows, by then the economy might be better. Last Sep 10th we was given notice our site would start closing down in Nov. My last day was Dec 2. Which for that company was giving a lot of notice. They are known for having an off site "all hands meeting" and locking the doors behind the people.

Thank's for the compliment Wolfframer.
Yea, As of right now my end date is June of next year. I'll be one of the last one's leaving. Not a lot of fun saying good bye to folks you spend more time with than spouses or family. Time will tell if I make it to the "bitter end".
BTW, if I remember right, I read you just found employment again. Congratulations and best of Luck.

Hey Doug,

Great to finally meet you too. Really enjoyed seeing some of your creation (trailers)in the flesh. Natty and Beau had a lot of fun on the trip. The trailer sure makes things a lot easier. Glad I got a good start at it, now to make the push to get the last 10% done.
I'm sure our paths will cross in the future at another gathering.
