Good progress today. I’m worn out. The permanent rear doors are built and installed.

Here shown open. There will be a shelf on the left door, at the bottom, for the cooler. I found teflon glides to go under that shelf and slide on the floor as the door opens and closes. Both doors sit on a 2x2 when closed for extra support. The stove goes on the right door, on a shelf that will slip OVER the countertop.
I have to laugh at myself... I can’t install the countertop now. I have to remove that vertical support in the center of the galley first. That won’t happen until the rest of the insulation and paneling are in place.

I used ordinary door hinges and left enough space for a good seal. I may add a third hinge if necessary, and a support leg, mainly to keep the doors from swinging in the breeze. The rear of the trailer is close to the ground because I have the tongue HIGH to allow melting snow to run off (windows still need to be sealed) and the left tire is flat.
Doors and hatch closed. The hatch overlaps the doors for security, just like it would on a pickup. Fits perfectly. I am amazed.

Tomorrow, the first coat of exterior paint will go on the doors.
Note: you can see the tan paint on the rear edge of the shelf and the rear part of the floor. I like it a lot.
