That makes two of us (three if you count Cindi)! I'm about to apply the 4th coat of topcoat on my sides so I'm getting close to finished (5 or 6 coats total, not counting the 3 coats of primer). Once the sides are painted I will turn them over, glue the hulliner on the interior and then it all goes on the trailer. That's when it will start to look like a teardrop. I've adopted a somewhat modular approach to the sides and bulkheads. We will see how it fits together :worship:

Congrats on your first trip! :applause:

Something tells me I don't need to take a poll...

I'm gonna be doing the same fenders on line as well, cheap functional, and looks great to boot!

No poll necessary! Fantastic job! :applause:

I guess I need to get started on my teardrop. I found this site about the same time that you, Thomas (2bits), and Mark (Planovet) did, but all I have so far is a pile of parts and an empty bank account.

Are you going to LCG III? If so, my wife and I would like to meet you. (We'll be the ones without a teardrop.)

Well, it's time to get started. :designing: Don't let a little thing like an empty bank account stop you. Use some Aggie ingenuity! And yes, Thomas is kicking both of our a$$es! :(

How are you planning to attach your fenders?

ummm, I have NO idea  It is becoming apparant that I can only plan ahead so much and I figured when I got to fender time I would spend alot of time on this board as I always do, see how everyone else has done it, look at the A-Z index, and add what ideas I have myself, and pick the best option. vibration appears to be an issue, and attaching to the body or frame is much preferred than to the axle, but I am unfortunately not to that point yet!

Tom (aggie79) sounds like your ducks are in a row, don't fret, it only gets worse and better at the same time! Just do it with STYLE!
