Hey Caseydog and Planovet,
this was e-mailed to me and thought that you'd like it
Excerpts from a Dog's diary:

8:00 am - Dog food! My favorite thing!

9:30 am - A car ride! My favorite thing!

9:40 am - A walk in the park! My favorite thing!

10:30 am - Got rubbed and petted! My favorite thing!

12:00 pm - Lunch! My favorite thing!

1:00 pm - Played in the yard! My favorite thing!

3:00 pm - Wagged my tail! My favorite thing!

5:00 pm - Milk bones! My favorite thing!

7:00 pm - Got to play ball! My favorite thing!

8:00 pm - Wow! Watched TV with the people! My favorite thing!

11:00 pm - Sleeping on the bed! My favorite thing!

Excerpts from a Cat's Diary

Day 33 of my captivity. My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre
dangling objects and tiny stuffed animals. They must take me for an
idiot.

Day 37 of my captivity. My captors dine lavishly on fresh meat and fish,
while the other inmates and I are fed canned hash and some sort of dry
nuggets. Although I've made my contempt for my food clear, I
nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength. The
only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to
disgust them, I once again vomit on the floor.

Day 44 of my captivity: Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its
headless body in the center of the living room carpet. I must show my
captors what I am capable of and strike fear into their hearts. When the
female captor saw the mouse, she shrieked in terror and ran out of the
room. Tee-hee!!

Day 53 of my captivity: There was some sort of large assembly of their
accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement in an upstairs
bedroom, though I could still hear the conversation and smell the food.
I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of "allergies." I
must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.

Day 57 of my captivity: Tonight after supper, my jailers gathered in the
living room to stare silently at the glowing box in the corner.
Meanwhile I leapt silently onto the kitchen counter and feasted on
leftover roast turkey. When I was full, I pushed a greasy turkey leg
onto the kitchen floor and stole away. Heh heh.

Day 62 of my captivity: Today I was almost successful in an attempt to
injure one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was
walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of
the stairs.

Day 67 of my captivity: I am convinced that the other prisoners here are
flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is
regularly released outdoors, but always seems eager to come back inside,
and then excitedly wags his tail once inside. He is obviously retarded.

Day 71 of my captivity: The bird must be an informant also. I observe
her communicating with the guards regularly. I am certain that she
reports my every move. My captors have her in protective custody in an
elevated cell, so she is safe....... for now.

Til later by the fire--John T. & Linda 8)

John, thanks for that further evidence that dogs are better pets than cats.

Dog had beautiful weather today, so he did some work on his creation.

First, I boxed in the back of the AC unit, and cut my intake and exhaust holes to vent the AC...

Then I installed my shore power inlet...

And, I cleaned the messy garage...

The only major thing I need to do is skin the hatch. After that, it needs some paint, and a lot of little stuff. After I skin and mount the hatch, and get some paint on it, CaseKraft 2 is at least campable.

And there was much rejoicing.

Nice weather here in Austin, too. Glad to see you making some progress. Last weekend Gianine from here in Austin came by with her husband to check out my build. Needless to say, I gave the garage quite a cleaning before they came over. That made a huge difference, I've been out there working a couple of hours every evening since. A clean workplace is a happy workplace!

Gald to see you back on your feet. Hope to see some more progress soon!

Thanks! Man, working in the garage when it is 100-plus degrees is brutal. What a difference it makes when it is in the 80s and there is a breeze.

I am way past ready to do some camping in this thing.

I couldn't agree more! Today was perfect, absolutely perfect. (I'm in the mid-cities area) What a nice change from the heat we've had all summer. I hope to get rolling in mine soon...

Nice build, BTW.

Hello Bill.

Man, I feel bad, because I never saw your build thread before. I'm on here every day, but somehow, I never came across your thread.

Are you signed up for LCG4?

Your build looks good. That winter warrior style build is beyond me "handyman" level talents. I can do "simple" pretty well.

Anyway, I hope to see you and your build at a gathering, soon.

Don't feel bad, I'm on here every day too and somehow ( don't know how) never found your build thread either.

I haven't signed up for LCG4 but I proabably should. I'd really like to be ready for it, but I have my doubts. There is just no way I'm going to tent camp with my incomplete trailer at home in the garage. I guess if I don't make it, I could give my site away.

Oh, crap!

I was keeping that for a surprise.

Well, you can't see the hot tub.

DOH! I didn't mean to say that.

It is much bigger on the inside than on the outside. It is a building technique that I leaned from a Doctor friend of mine. He wanted me to name this teardrop "Tardis 2", but I didn't care for the name. He thought it should look like a London Police box, too. He is a weird fellow. Not down to earth, like me.
