Nice job!

If he names it Nomad now, he can always go back someday, come what may, to Blue By You. ;)

Nice!

Well, I look at this way...It's Nomad now for now, may contain another adjective that I haven't openly mentioned....when I decide to sell it, the buyer can name it whatever they want. Strip off the vinyl graphics, and relabel it up how they choose. It's not design specific like the Rocketear. If you were to see it in person....more green than blue...it's a pics thing. Doug

Plan for tomorrow is to start building the front seats.....somehow...I'm shorter on space than I originally had planned...don't know what happened, but I'll make it work out, have to! Doug

Doug,

It was typical to have the streetside bench a little shorter than the curbside bench.
The tables also had an odd shaped corner cut to allow passage by the stove/counter.

Ok, how about "Green eyed lady, lucky Lady"... As, should you sell it, that will be one lucky new owner!

And (only slightly off topic) for all reading this thread going to IRG, see my post in Jefferson State for the reg from until the Pamplingrove link works.

I played around with the dinette layout tonight....Rob is right about the table shape. I've seen a number of them with an angle cut out in the table corner...I'm gonna have one too! Doug

My Dalton has a regular trimmed table top. But like that, I too have seen some tables with the corner cut for ease of getting around the stove to the bench. I've had thoughts of cutting the corner on the Dalton's table.

Gage....I'd love the clearance you have right now...I don't have that...gonna have to cut the table to get it. I'm only 10'8" OAL ( it grew a little) and have like 30" for the front dinette....can't seat people like you can on that one. It's one person on each side only. Working on a sliding table idea. I penciled some lines on the side tonight however for the paint job....tried some of the Dalton lines....HMMMMM  Doug

I got the seat portions of the dinette done this weekend. The front slopes back to allow some heel room so it was one of those, match an angle to a curved thing.

The front skin was a real challenge to install. I had routed slots to allow the interior material to slip in. Good idea in theory, but once painted, they sucked up a lot of moisture and kinda did a potato chip thing in the opposite direction. I'd get one side in and then go to the other side and it would pop out. My solution....rout out the material between the groove and the outside and back it up with some small blocks. Sponge Bob dropped by to help out. Doug

Doug,
You probably have it all figured out by now, and as usual. The table in my trailer uses a slide mount table bracket. If you look at Gage's picture of his Dalton, the table is more to the street side. With the slide bracket, it allows me to push it to either side. When you are camping solomente, just push the table more to one side. When two people are sitting, just adjust it between both people.
Why just dance, when you can Salsa!

Doug, where did you get your counter top and kidney table aluminum edge molding? Looking for something like that for outside hitch mounted tables similar to yours. Yes, stealing your great ideas again! 8)
