Sharon, you are doing an amazing job on everything. You are making the rest of us look bad...

I'm using Caseydog's idea for wiring...I think CD calls it minimalistic...there is no 12 volt wiring. I decided not to have a TV and radio and all that stuff.

My camper will be like camping in a hard sided tent...

I think CD's idea is great and would be easily enlarged upon, should you ever decide to.

While I did run a set of unused, not connected speaker wires just in case, I'm not going to have a TV or radio either; but, I like having lights where I want them, when I want them. Also, I prefer campgrounds that don't have electric hook-ups as they are usually quieter and more woodsy; thus, DC power. It's all a matter of personal preferences. That's part of what this forum is about.

Steve, you are building at a much faster pace than I am and are doing a good job.

Hmm... I have 12 Volt wiring and it is hooked up to interior lights and 12v outlets but to date (almost a year) I have not needed it, I may not ever. I might just do it since it is already there and I have the fuse box ready to go but I think most people (not all) camp in a park where they can just plug in. On the TV/DVD/Radio angle though, I have a power strip hidden in a cabinet and it runs all my goodies, and most importantly than anything else, Air Conditioning and Heating... Nothin wrong with a well placed power strip! Even CD has one for his AC.

Remember... not just a tent, but a Luxury Tent!

Sharon,

Looks like you're rounding the last turn for the home stretch!

I amazed at how all your pre-built components fit when you assemble them into place. There is no way I could do that and have anything match up.

I understand about paper towels. My "excess" is blue painters tape.

Take care,
Tom

Thanks, Tom and Thomas. I've got the "peddle to the metal" and am only slowing or stopping when my body throws a caution or stop light! :running man:

Thanks, Burke. I've got the roof frame on top now; but only because I want to make some final modifications. I'll try to slip in a quick pic after I make those...Not sure exactly when, but probably within the week.
