Re: 1955 Benroy - Rebuild (12/21/2013 - For Sale)

Hey Gang,

I think this is the weekend where I put it up for sale. Maybe isn't the best time, with it being so close to Christmas and all, but if I don't do it now, I'm not sure when I will.

So, where do I list it? Craigslist and where else?

Any suggestions on what I should I ask?

Craigslist and maybe TCT. I would also post in the high income areas of the CL world. Santa Barabara, Napa, ....

Sold in just three days. I have mixed feelings about it.

On to the next project! Now I need to sell my Model 1 Coleman stove!

Steve, answered a post I had about Benroy owners and I found this thread. The job you have done steve is remarkabke. I am trying to get mine in good enough shape to use a little this summer then I will attempt a full blown rebuild later. I believe my trailer to be an original but my hatch on the galley has an aluminul frame, with hardwood headers on the end. The tongue of my trailer had been modified to make longer and probably lost the number. It does have the original coupler and jack that I will use. Interested in talking with all that have Benroys. This is my third teadrop over the years. I have old cars also and these go pretty good with them. Excuse my computer skills because they are pretty weak. I enjoy reading far more than posting. Thanks TP

I think I see some remnants of a serial number on the tongue of the trailer under many coats of paint. I will take a wire wheel to it later today hopefully.
