Hey it's all part of it guys... Makes me think of Orange County Chopper... Senior would come into the shop and Junior would be just standing staring at the build. (According to him he was planning and designing in his head, thrashing through the creative process.) Senior would go nuts and start yelling because to him, Jr. was just standing there doing nothing!!! My standing and staring time is where most of my ideas are born.

All I can remember about that part of boat building now is to never go less than 20 times the diameter of the moving cable for a pulley diameter or the wire will come apart. Second the idea of a marine supply house for what you need. Couldn't the the image in the above post.

Thanks KC and Tim for input, the marine supplies here were not so thrifty and also they did not have exactly what I was looking for.
Steve the designer and builder of the Bullet XV, the Ultimate Expedition Vehicle, kindly responded to my questions and I have the info, the pulleys and mounts were from hd. I sourced the pulley from lowes, but the mounts I could not find locally as yet, I'll keep looking.

Finished installing the back side of the trailer lower wall and floor panels today. Made a narrow shelf to reinforce back wall and structure, and it feels strong.

Next plan to work on front part of roof. The trailer structure became very rigid after the back floor and wall pannels were installed. After adding inside seating, bed and kitchen structures it will be much more stronger, so no concerns with strength and rigidity of the trailer lower section.

Thanks Cindy for kind words and looking at my build journal.

I decided to "fiberglass in place" a weather strip that will keep water away from the front seal between folding wall and front part. I made some wood pieces or "plugs" and covered them nicely with packing tape, they serve as a form and compress the fiberglass cloth strips in place. They should be strong enough with 5 layers of 6oz FG, or I will add more carbon fiber ;) later. This solution was inspired by Michael, the Astroliner thread as I also want to avoid any metal strips and screws on the external surface. I will clean the strip edges and remove wood strips once the epoxy is set.

And this is how the weather "fins" came out the mold (view from above), after adding carbon fiber for more rigidity, it is very strong and rigid now. :R

I have similar situation at the back, so I'll be molding another two fins there this way. Where else? Some cool fins at the back for smoother air stream separation ...

Have a question: is smooth fiberglass by fiberglass is ok to be a pair for sliding against each other with zero or minimal force or I need to put some polypropylene felt/pile in between? It is for contacting surfaces where I will build the lifting roof sliding up against lower trailer section. I can glue felt or PP pile that will be inside on one of FG surfaces like it is shown on the rough sketch in blue, but I am not sure that it is really needed, I know that FG surfaces will slide ok. Your input and thoughts are welcome. Thanks.

Looking great op.
You can get a good variety of felt brush wiper strips from specialist window a door seal places.
Sounds like a good idea to me
