Well, with this nice weather of the last week, Dog got a lot done.

I need some fenders to go out on the highways, but Caseycraft 2 is basically campable.

I got the galley hatch done. It's not hi-tech, but it works.

I got some paint on, and put the vent covers in place with black screws.

And, I found the black screws with grommets that I really wanted to use as accents on the roof skin and hatch -- plus they ad some strength to the connection between materials.

Congratulations, CaseyDog! :applause:  :applause:

I'm glad you're not totally done. I would be having withdrawals from the dogspeak....Can't wait to see the pass-through completed! I love the canvas wall idea.

Glenn,

Your new teardrop looks great. I am sure many will desire to emulate your ability to build a nice looking, no nonsense trailer.

And... it only took 15 pages into the build thread to be campable, very good.

Thanks!

My build is very simple. I've been watching your build thread from time to time. Yours is a much tougher build.

As for the prop rods, I did not plan for them to be as they are. Things just lined up that way. I was originally planning to use gas struts, but this is cheaper, and should do the job just fine.

Dog did go forth in the storms, and did purchaseth fenders for his creation.

They need to be degreased and painted before mounting, but with 100 percent humidity, that is not a viable option.

So, Dog will have to wait to paint, and you will have to wait for :pictures:

CaseyKraft 2 is pretty much ready for camping. I took it out on the streets today. It towed well. All the lights work, it has a license plate, and a system to hold the hatch shut.

I got one fender installed, but ran out of light before I could get the other one. After that, I need to make the panel for the pass-thru galley, and do a little tweaking on the AC exhaust duct, and it will be ready for the Joe Pool Lake gathering on Friday.

Dude! That's boss! I can only hope that my 2nd build goes as quickly and turns out as well as that! You've made it look easy, with excellent results.

Well done!
