Can't wait to see it in person.

Thanks Whitney

We live fairly close to each other so I'm sure our paths will cross at a gathering some day.

 I don't feel bad then last weekend when it was cool out and I was working on it in the garage I climbed in doing some stuff and took a break and laid back, Sheri woke me 2 hrs later  and that was with out the mattress. Too bad you can't come down to Cloudland Canyon this next weekend for the Ga gathering that we have AL, and some TN and FL folks coming to. I went out and pulled th "DoDropIn" around yesterday and cleaned it up some, checked the lights, changed the bedding and started getting stuff ready to head there this friday. Thats one of the good reasons I like multiple tears, you can always go camping .

LDK wrote:The camp critter is all most done except for a little more trim work. All the little things are taking alot longer than I thought. I guess because there are so many little things.

Larry,

Your trim work looks great - nice tight tolerances. I really like how you finished out your galley trim.

LDK wrote:Hopefully tomorrow I'll at least be maybe 95% done.

I'm about at that 85% stage - can't imagine what the 95% stage will feel like.

Take care,

Thanks Tom

I have to disagree with you on one thing though, you're about 99% done, not 85%.

Hello Larry & Becky: It looks like you have hit one out of the park on that Critter... ;)
Now all you need to do is drag that animal to a campground near you !!! Let me tell you, you will have a great time on you first outing. Yes a camera is a must. You will have to write a script of what you will tell those who want to know about "where you bought it". You will love the look on their faces when you tell them "I built it"!
Nice "Cubby" buddy... Have a very nice time. :applause:

Larry you can always cheat and print out your build pics and put in a binder to take with you so its easier to tell "The Camp Critter Story". Sheri has already started ours  , its what I get for being married to a very pretty school teacher 8).

Larry almost forgot that I was over at West Marine yesterday to pick up my 30 amp inlet ($13 cheaper than RV place) and as I was walking around I noyiced they carry gas struts and more important is the brackets for mounting them. Thought if you had a chance you might want to check out what they have for your galley hatch. I don't know if I'll get mine from them but they will give you a place to start.
