Now the leg will be a steel piece of tubing with a bolt going through, I will make the hole for the bolt a little big so it has some play in it. I also found a nice socket for the tubing to fit into. More of that tomorrow when I get time.

Found out yesterday that I am going to Airman Leadership School (ALS for short) so I'm ready to be a Staff Sargent. Good news but from what I hear, ALS will take up my time off duty. Don't go for another month but I want to put in as much trailer time as I can.
Also tried to fix my compressor today, it has a busted piston seal which I cannot find anywhere. I put a thick piece of teflon in place of the piston top but it was too loose to get compression. Really need it to work so I can sand and paint.

I was looking at my galley and thinking the 2 lower cabinets will be a mess of clutter after a day or two. Maybe some filing cabinet like drawers would be better. They are only about 12" deep so not too big and I will still use my cabinet fronts.
I'm also taking on another project of building a toolbox so I can get organized with my work. I have a work bench under all my junk somewhere. :?

One drawer made, and a clean work bench... Well it was clean.
Trying to make shorter slides out of some very long free drawer slides. Got em cut down, now just have to put all those little bearings back in and mount it.

No updates on the build right now but I just found out that I made staff Sargent, next few months will get pretty busy.

Congrats & thanks for your service! A little extra money always comes in handy for the build (my son's an E6 at Ft. Jackson in S.C.) Very nice work on the sheet metal work, like the drawer head, nicely done.
