I drive over to my kid's house, I can usually find what's missing there there.

Doug, I noticed that you have a regular AC outlet in the Nomad. So, do you plan to put air conditioning in it, too?

No AC...I only really put power in it for resale value. I never camp where there is power other than the Dam, and have only had it once there. Doug

So, what did you get done today? It's Saturday. I bet you did a lot.

C'mon, tell us -- and show us pictures.

The weather sucks for most of us, so we need to live, or build, vicariously through you.

Here's the Sunday update...I got part of the ceiling painted and installed, again..it's a bear to bend them when they have "potato chipped" in the opposite direction after painting. I also built in the upper cabinet. I put a 1.5" round on the bottom to prevent creases in my forehead. Would have been nice to do it in poplar, but I cut up a fir 2x4. Unfortunately, it shows grain. Gave me a chance to use that bit I bought for the last trailer. Framed and cut in the windows, made the doors for the upper cabinet, got the table finally hung. Still no table trim...he won't have it for maybe 2 weeks. Build to fit/ no plans can be a real time hog. Doug

Doug, that's an impressive build in a two car garage including all your equipment and personal items to work around.
Building inside out like your doing is the best way.
I like how your carrying your red circles and black trim theme from the cabinet to the table support.
Your Build to fit/no plans approach can be fun, it lets the creative juices flow.
It's turning out very nice  , but then I knew it would. :D Danny

Thanks Danny....you've seen my garage, so you know just how much room I have...maybe I ought to clean out a ton of crap and see how much more I can come up with. Yesterday...I had to trim the edge of the cabinet front on the table saw for the final fit up...I had to position the trailer perfectly, so that the material could stick out off the table into the door of the trailer to make the cut. The front of the garage has saw horses and a 4x8 sheet of styrofoam for my painting/cutting routing on the large sheets of material. Doug

Hey Doug,
Cleaning out your garage for space!? Let me know when you drag that old Nash out to the curb and I'll have to make my first trip to Cali. :D The build is looking great!! Are those circle and dark straight lines..inlayed? If so..with what kind of wood?

John...the black lines are routed 3/8" wide and about 1/8 inch deep and painted. The orange circles are cut with a forstner bit and backed up with a countersunk socket from behind and backed with coral Boomerang formica. As for the crap in the garage....a lot of Coleman stuff and other items that for some reason, I just know I will need them in the future. I just can never find them when I need them.

Thanks Rick! Doug

Lookin' pretty sweet, there, sir.

How does the table edge trim you want to use differ from the trim already used?

Thanks.
