Looks like I,ll be able to get some pics of the newly redone Kit frame on Monday. I was told it sure looks sweet so Im anxious to take photos asap.

Been working on redoing the both hatches at present. The original window frames are off to the welder to have them redone a bit then off to the glass department .

So a lot of good things happening behind the scenes here.

Stay tuned.

Hey there Heikki,

I haven't been hanging out here lately, so it's great to see the progress on the '47! Nice looking fenders...

Well folks its time for a few new pics of the 47 Kit frame all redone with new Euro coupling. Not much cut off of the old towbar. :) :) It looks brand new now with bearings repacked as well. The heavy tire rack has been removed as it was not original.

Hope you enjoy.

Thank You Dave.
It was nerve racking as to how I would do it indeed. I tried a few ways before it cliked into place. Who knows I may come up to somthing better yet but it will do at least for now.

Looks like a mount point for a pipe-mount tongue jack. I have something simular. This pic shows the jack mounted on mine.

You are absolutely correct. Thats exactly what it is. Its big and bulky meaning the one we have. Im going to redo or redesign that eventually for a lighter version. We,ll see. ;)

Gage I,ll take a photo of the stand that came with it. I would love to have a lighter version and also I want to install a wheel there in the front since that pipe piece I still have even though I took it off.

I found some pretty nice rubber wheels here and Im going to install it yet for easier movablity.

Very nice to hear from you Gage. Hope your staying healthy. Hugs to you and your family. :)

That chain may have to go since there is no place to hook it to on the tow vehicle. Dont know for sure.
