I am hoping to do some fall camping in my neck of the woods and over the pass into Mammoth Lakes, we shall see. :)

What size/material did you use for your spars?

Trailer is looking great!

I used poplar 1x2 spars. There are some pine spars in there also that I had left over and used. Poplar is harder wood and should hold the screws better than the pine.

Been a little slow going the last week or so. I had to redo my Son's room. He is 14 now and Trains are no longer cool. Painted it all tan with black furniture and added Dr. Who posters. He loves Dr. Who. :R

Got a little done on the trailer today. Added some color to the galley. Yes I know it is two different colors but I like it a little on the wild side. Also started some wiring. No real problems lately.

Been working away on my trailer when it is cool enough in my garage. Anything under 95 is workable... :R

Been doing the 12 volt wiring and pretty much have it done. You can see the wiring loom going to the power center in this photo.

And GOD said, let there be light, and there was!!

Here is a shot of the interior cabinet frame. It will have a door on each side and the middle will be left open.

Here is a shot of the progressive dynamics 4045 box.

I have not started the 110 wiring yet but it will be very simple. Power going into the trailer and one outlet in the galley and one in the trailer.

Sorry about the shoddy pics. Have to get my Canon out and ditch the Iphone in the garage or layoff the coffee....

I have been building cabinets. It has been great fun. I used my router to route the grove for the inset panel and routed the edge. I am learning a lot about the router.

In the below cabinet I used some burled walnut that I have had forever. I think it turned out well.

I will post some more when I get the rest of the cabinet doors hung. On vacation this week in Lake Tahoe.

Got my door and porch light installed. Door is really nice, works really well. Been too hot to do much in the shop but been trying to do a little now and then. Going to put a door in the other side as soon as I have the $$$$.

Worked on the teardrop yesterday and today. Put 4 coats of spar urethane on the oak sides and cpes'd the door cutouts and the top edges of the sides.

Also finished the kitchen cabinets. Still need to build two drawers.

Looking great so far. I love the walnut.

Question: How did you attach your cabinets/bulkheads to the outer walls? I can't really tell from the pics. I don't see any screw heads on the outside walls so I assume that you screwed from the inside out.

Pocket Screws and Wood Glue. All the bulkheads and cabinets are screwed to each other so they all add strength to one another. Hopefully it won't fly apart when I am driving down the road...

Didn't much care for the red trailer so I am in the process of painting it with Hammered Metal Paint. Both of my wheels arrived scratched so I decided to add my personal touch to them.

Almost done with the inside. Added an extending arm for my IPad. There will be a shelf above the mount for my Ipad Bluetooth speaker.
